I could have had a heart attack on the day of this wedding.
It seemed like each moment got better than the last, and my heart could just stop from so much love. This day was truly perfect. Really perfect. The weather was just oh, wow…. I could live every day with this weather. And the couple, oh, I loved this couple. Every photo I took of them just blew me away. I probably ohhh-ed & ahhh-ed at my LCD screen all day.
Julie and Derek decided to do something a little different. Julie didn’t want him to see her in her dress before the wedding, but she wanted to spend time with him. So the met before photos started and prayed together, shared gifts, and experienced alone time that most couples don’t get to enjoy. I loved they wanted to spend some time in prayer before starting every other event of the day. It says a lot about them as people & the foundation of what their marriage is built on. I know they will cherish these few minutes together for a long time.
Julie surprised us with these awesome mugs!!!! One for me & one for Wes!!!! Eat, sleep, shoot! I love love surprises & this one made my day!
Derek had a close friend he met at SCAD design & create his grooms cake. I can honestly say I have never seen a cake with so much detail. I could have stared at it all day.
Julie & Derrek, I wish you the very best that life has to offer. I hope you are both loving New York and enjoying exploring and falling deeper in love. I cannot wait to see you again sometime. Thank you for trusting us, and giving us the opportunity to share in this important day.
Be happy and Love each other.
