She breathed it in.

I watched all day as Anna breathed in her wedding, she soaked it up… touched it, smelled it. She knows the details, knows how she felt in each and every moment. It wasn’t a blur for her, it wasn’t a moment passing by. She breathed.

If I could work with one bride for the rest of my life, it would be Anna. She was everything I believe a bride should exemplify. She was beauty, the pure kind. She was love to those around. She was patience despite unforeseen circumstances. She was joy… because she was about to become one with the man who makes her whole.

Oh, I love this. I could have blogged every photo I took. I love them all. I hope you do too.

Anna, I hope you feel as beautiful looking at these photos as you did this day. Davis, I hope I captured the beauty you saw, so you can remember it for the rest of your lives. You both are so wonderfully special. I am SO happy for you. I cannot wait to be friends. Really. I want you in my life. You bring up people’s average. (read here) I wish you both the very best.

Here are a few* of your shots ;)

As I was taking photos, all of the sudden, Anna started to tear up…. I turned around to see what was going on, and saw this couple walking down the street… I, too, have a soft spot for older couples, and I, too, always imagine Wes and I 40 years from now walking together down the street together…. so naturally, I also teared up. I loved having someone who understood love that deep. One day this will be us.

Davis’ family has been apart of their church for 6 generations. I cannot imagine how many members of his family have been married under this ceiling-I love that. Before the ceremony, we were told we were only allowed to get one photo during the entire process, and that would be a shot of Anna and Matt leaving the church. I was bummed out. And we wanted more. So, Wes Wages made friends with the sweet man in charge, and finally just asked him.

Anna and Matt are the only people they have ever known of who have been allowed to have photos during their ceremony, and we were so honored to be the photographers who were trusted to do so.

I know they will cherish them for the rest of their lives.

Anna used Sugar Bakers on the Square in Huntsville for her cake… whew wee.. it was good. I must say:
Dear Huntsville Brides…. please look into this amazing cake vendor. I will love you forever. Sincerely, Tera

Again, thank you so much for letting me be apart of this day. This is one that I will cherish.
Be happy and Love each other.
